Information
An opportunity for Canadian Studies students to meet professors and other professionals with Canadian studies degrees to discuss the future of Canadian Studies, investigate career opportunities and deliver and hear presentations on recent research in the field.  Students attending the forum will also be given the opportunity to attend the Canadian Studies Annual conference to be held on October 27th and well as two other ACS events being held October 26th and 27th at the same location. Please note that the following positions will be open on the ACS Board of Directors and filled on October 28, 2007, at the ACS Annual General Meeting at the Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudière (2, rue Montcalm, Gatineau, Québec).
 
- British Columbia and Yukon representative
- French language Secretary
- Atlantic provinces representative
- Quebec representative
 
Anyone wishing to present his or her candidacy for a position must be at least 18 years of age, a permanent Canadian resident, and an ACS member in good standing. Regional representatives must live in the designated region. Three letters of support are also required for each nomination.
 
Please complete the nomination form return it to the Nominations Committee by September 26, 2007.
