Meet and Greet

Since 1989, the Association for Canadian Studies has administered the Chinese Faculty Meet & Greet Program on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs & International Trade of Canada. The program receives the winners of the Special Chinese Prize for Canadian Studies in China during the spring of each year. The ACS assists twenty scholars to plan research and interview tours across Canada. They receive a three-day seminar in cross-cultural training, which presents Western-style communication skills and interviewing techniques, as well as instruction on the use of new information technologies and library systems.
